West End Show 2024 Poll

EXCITING WEST END PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR 5-7YRS & 8-12YRS of all branches of Rascals.

We are VERY excited to let you know that we are currently planning our 25th Anniversary BIG show but before we go any further, we need to gauge how many people would be interested In their child taking part in this performance. Once you have read ALL of the information, please complete the poll below.

We are very much hoping to produce another very special Anniversary show at the magnificent HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE in the very heart of LONDON'S WEST END to mark our 25th birthday!!!!! This prestigious theatre is the home to The Phantom of the Opera & will be such an AMAZING theatre for our students to perform at and also for our parents, families & friends to come to watch their gorgeous little stars perform at!

So, here goes with all of the details of the show............PLEASE READ - VERY IMPORTANT INFO – ACTION REQUIRED!!!!!

Firstly, due to the logistics and manpower required back stage, this performance will NOT include children that attend our 3-4yrs after school classes.

RASCALS 25TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW - HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE, LONDON

DATE: SUNDAY 26TH MAY 2024 (put me in your diary now if you haven’t already done so!!!)

Please note that it is a Bank Holiday Monday the day after the show so no school or work!
This show will be a Dance & Musical Theatre show and ALL routines will be taught in your NORMAL class times.
There will be one, possibly two Full Dress rehearsals nearer the time. This will be an additional rehearsal that WILL be an addition to normal class time.
All students will perform in 2 routines plus an opening number & a finale number (4 routines in total)

COSTS:

SHOW DEPOSIT

In order for this show to go ahead we need a minimum number of children to take part and for everyone to demonstrate their commitment to taking part by paying a NON-REFUNDABLE Show Deposit of £30.00 by Friday 1st Dec 2023. Payment details to be confirmed once we have confirmation that enough children wish to participate.
This deposit will then be deducted from the cost of your costume payment which will be due next year.

COSTUMES

We will source & provide each performer with 2 brand new fabulous costume's. The estimated total cost for your costumes will be between £50-£60 per performer. Rascals T-shirts will be worn for the opening & finale numbers, you will also need black jazz shoes & black leggings/joggers.
You will keep your costumes after the show & your £30 show deposit will be deducted from your costume fee's when they become due next year.

TICKETS

As you can imagine hiring such a spectacular theatre comes at a spectacular price!! In order to cover the cost of the theatre we will be asking each family to purchase a minimum of 4 tickets. Ticket prices will range from £20 up to £40.
Tickets will be sold via the theatre box office and will go on sale early next year.

COACH TRAVEL

Students from each branch of the school will need to travel to & from the theatre as a group in order to ensure that everyone arrives together & on time. We estimate that the cost of travel will be approx £15-£20 per performer depending on the location you are travelling from.

PARENT CHAPERONES

In order for this performance to go ahead, we will be requiring parent help to act as chaperones backstage and to & from the theatre.
