From Professional Performer to Rascals Franchisee – Jane’s Incredible Launch Story.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been celebrating the launch of our newest Rascals location in Rossington, Doncaster and what an incredible start it has been!

Our amazing new franchisee Jane officially opened the doors to Rascals Rossington this April, bringing high-energy, confidence-boosting performing arts classes to local children aged 3–12.

But Jane’s journey to becoming a Rascals franchisee started long before opening night…

Meet Jane

Jane joined the Rascals family with an incredible background in performing arts. She is a professional singer with over 20 years of industry experience and holds a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. Throughout her career, Jane has performed on cruise ships, holiday parks, theatre tours and even appeared on ITV’s Starstruck.

Alongside her performing career, Jane is also mum to a gorgeous 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old twin boys. Like many parents, she reached a point where she wanted a career that worked around family life whilst still allowing her to continue doing something she truly loved.

That’s where Rascals came in. Jane wanted to bring something special to her local community, fun, energetic and confidence-boosting classes where children could dance, sing, act and truly be themselves.

Launch Night in Rossington

After weeks of preparation, training and marketing, launch night finally arrived and WOW, what a night it was!

The atmosphere at The Welfare Club in Rossington was amazing from the moment families arrived. We met so many lovely parents and fabulous children, all excited to become part of the Rascals family.

And Jane absolutely smashed it.

She delivered the perfect Rascals class with so much confidence, warmth and energy, honestly like she had been doing it for years! From dancing and drama games to singing and confidence-building activities, the children had an absolute blast.

One of the loveliest parts of the evening was seeing Jane’s family there supporting her every step of the way. Her mum, dad, husband and daughter were all there cheering her on, and the whole evening had such a genuine family business feel to it.

Watching all of Jane’s hard work, planning, preparation and practice come together was such a proud moment for us as franchisors.

An Amazing Second Week

And the excitement didn’t stop after opening night… By week two, Jane was already seeing fantastic results. Using the Rascals follow-up systems and procedures consistently, she converted an incredible 87% of her opening night FREE TRIALS into bookings an amazing achievement for a brand-new location!

This is exactly why we place so much emphasis on our proven systems and support. It’s not just about delivering brilliant classes (although Jane certainly did that too!) it’s also about building relationships with families, following up consistently and creating a welcoming environment that parents want to come back to week after week.
